Fear

Fear will leave us paralyzed, afraid to try something new, take risks, explore new journeys... fear will cause us to pause on life.

Now considering those options, are you going to let the fear control you, or are you going to take a risk of faith because you know you have a God who loves you?

A God who will always make a way?

If He didn't intend for you to live, there would be no breath in your lungs. Don't let fear keep you from accomplishing/ doing/ enjoying life.

Patience a virtue...?  This quote has helped change my understanding of patience: “Patience is not passive; on the contrary, it is active; it is concentrated strength.” ~Edward G. Bulwer-Lytton I was taught growing up that patience was a virtue (Galatians 5:22-23), but I was never taught why. Why was patience a virtue? Most people get it wrong; they believe that patience and waiting are the same thing. Well, that's not true. What does patience really mean? Patience has nothing to do with waiting. Most of us go through life always giving up or never getting started on something, because we are waiting for the “time to be right” to start doing something worthwhile.  STOP WAITING! The time will never be “just right.” Start where you stand, and work with whatever tools you may have at your command, and better tools will be found as you go along.

Get Unstuck

We can't hold on to the old spirit man and grab on to the new spirit at the same time. It doesn't work that way. At some point, we must let go of one to grab the other, or else we are not going to grow, nor see that lasting change or gain the promise that God has in store for us.  Change / Reaction / Action are all choices! Choices we get to make. We alone make. We want to be better than we must intentionally make wise choices in order to be better, in order to grow.  "There is no growth without change, there is no change without loss, and there is no loss without pain." If we are going to grow, we are going to have to change, and CHANGE means LETTING GO of some old things, old habits, no longer supportive friendships, no longer healthy relations to grab hold of some new things.
